What is REDpreneur.UA?
REDpreneur.UA is an innovative program aimed at empowering individuals and organizations in Ukraine to foster innovation, sustainability, and resilience in the face of ongoing challenges. Supported by the Austrian Red Cross (AutRC) and funded by Neighbor in Need, the program is being implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) during the 2024-2025 period. It provides comprehensive social entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and networking opportunities through online and hybrid formats.
The initiative is dedicated to supporting conflict-affected individuals, including women and internally displaced persons (IDPs), enabling them to develop impactful products and services that address pressing social and environmental issues while creating diversified income streams. This is done through 3 components.
The first component (Livelihood support): supporting the sustainable sector of the economy and the economic resilience of vulnerable groups. Training on the basis of business schools and incubators for the implementation of business ideas with the possibility of receiving financial grants for development.
The second component (NSD): social entrepreneurship at the level of Ukrainian Red Cross organizations.
Third component: The URCS Social Business Innovation Lab is an innovation, creativity, and learning lab that provides access to educational business opportunities, mentoring, and networking.

In 2025, the RED HUB – the Business Incubator of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) – in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross (AutRC) and the French Red Cross, announce the launch of a second REDpreneur Ukraine Cohort in 2025 aimed at reinforcing financial sustainability of URCS’s branches. This innovative capacity-building initiative is designed to equip changemakers within the URCS with the business skills needed to develop financially sustainable social enterprises.
Building on the success of previous REDpreneur Ukraine cohorts, this new cycle will offer intensive online and offline training and mentoring to URCS branches. Selected branches will also receive financial support. Participants will acquire the skills and resources necessary to launch or scale ventures that generate income while tackling urgent social and environmental challenges.

The most promising ventures will receive grants to accelerate growth, with a focus on fostering social businesses that drive innovation and address pressing societal challenges.
